Chevy High Peformance magazine wrote an article about our heads a while back.
In it they switched out a set of Iron Eagle 215s for the PRO 1s (The old ones, all our new PRO 1s are platinum) and then for the PRO 1 Platinums on a 383 stroker running 10.30:1 compression.
Here are the numbers:
Iron Eagle:
Max Torque - 464.2 lb/ft @ 4,600 rpm
Max Power - 463.9 hp @ 5,900 rpm
Ave. Torque - 425.4 lb/ft
Ave Power - 335.8 hp
PRO 1:
Max Torque - 473.1 lb/ft @ 4,700 rpm
Max Power - 479.7 hp @ 5,700 rpm
Ave. Torque - 432.3 lb/ft
Ave Power - 342.2 hp
PRO 1 Platinum:
Max Torque - 483.8 lb/ft @ 5,000 rpm
Max Power - 503.2 hp @ 6,000 rpm
Ave. Torque - 441.5 lb/ft
Ave Power - 351.0 hp
As you can see, the average horsepower gain on their 383 from an Iron Eagle to the platinum was 15.2 hp, the average torque improved by 16.1 lb/ft.
That should give you a pretty good idea what kind of performance increase you will get from the upgrade.
Hope this helps!

We have seen 10 real hp on our 383 street heat engine from the old to the new Platinum. We have never seen more power from aluminum heads verses steel, acutally we loose most of the time. No very much but never did we get more without some funny stuff. The engine sitting still does not no it is heavier or lighter. It does see size of intake and exhasut runners. Steel verses aluminum offer no performance gains at all what I have seen. The platinum heads are a little better than the older ones so it is for real. The larger the engine the better the new head works also. A 434 street heat engine loves the 200 cc runner. Can't hardly sell them because everyone wants that 227 Pro 1 cnc version. Can't blame them, it is a good head.
