Hello
I just replaced wires and plugs because of misfire, no power climbing hills. It sounds much better my plugs had carbon fouling and some wires cracked. I was going to replace the direct ignition coil but, i have a question first. Is it possible to have the coil going bad with symptoms :Dor does the ignition coil just go out all at once?

if it was an electrical issue, you would have bucking jerking etc. if it was low voltage, your engine would just shut off. You have a fuel delievery problem or cat getting plugged up. Could heave retarded ignition timing but I don't think that is the problem. Pull the fuel filter and see if you can blow threw it easily, if you can, check fuel pressue, if its good, check it again hot. If all else fails, undo the exhaust before the cat or just take a look at it. You can drill a hole before and after the cat and gauge the pressure, it should be the same.
