I have a 383 chevy, forged bottom end, flat tops (10-1), w/0 deck. Comp roller 224/230 @ 50 and 1.6 rockers on the intake. Dart 180 Iron with the pockets cleaned up and ports matched to my intake. The question, in trying to keep the stock appearance I used a 69 Z/28 alum. dual plane intake. For those that remember, the port size was 2.020 x 1.230. The new RPM/Air Gap type intakes have smaller ports. Would I get any increase in low end and HP by changing to a newer style intake? Which one? Any guesses how much? Or as my daddy always said " Is the juice worth the squeezin"
