Hi, I've been out of the performance world for 25 years but have worked on friends race cars during that time as a clutch diver. This is my combination just wondering what you think it adds up to power wise and 1/4 et expected.

1970 Chevelle about 3800 lb
454 stock bore 10:1 compression
Dart Iron eagle 308cc heads
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap
Pro Systems 950 HP
SR cam .650 243/249 @.05 112 LSA
MSD with digital 6
Ram aluminum F/W CF dual friction
Richmond 5spd 3.27 1st
Ford 9" by Moser 3.55
MT ET Streets 11.5x28

Thanks for responding, I can still pound on the street but the track is giving me anxiety:p if it pulls the wheels will it go straight stay in the groove don't miss a shift all those things. Just have to get my head straight and go do it. Thanks again. Aloha Mike

If you want it to go dead straight, it has nothing to do with your driving, Ray Charles could drive a properly set up car from one end to another. If you want your Chevelle to run perfectly straight with the wheels up in the air, then do these 2 things and it will. Put the fattest front and rear sway bar kits you can find. Don't worry about a little weight. Then put a front end limiter kit if you want to keep her on the ground. I allow for 1-2"s of travel for nice lauches. Your car will run staight as an arrow and be really fun to drive. You can install a RR air bag to fine tune the slight twist affect that the Chevelles are known for. Hope this helps.
