Hi, I want to install the inside head studs in my brodix 2 xtra heads . i have a dart big m block. what is the angle that the stud needs to be from the deck? and how deep does the hole need to be drilled? and these are 7/16 studs too? thanks, don.

I have a set of Dart360 solids that have the holes drilled from the factory. I will check them when I get home tonight unless someone else can do it quicker.

The angle is 10 degress away from the intake with a 7/16 thread on the head side and a 3/8 nut on the block side.

As far as depth we couldn't tell you. I would suggest calling Brodix, or buy Dart heads..... lol.

Call Brodix. They will know, or turn you onto someone who does there. They can do the job if you need them to do it.

The angle is 10° and we make it ¼" deeper than the actual threads to keep the stud up against the roller shoulder. It does not affect the port if it goes threw, we just seal it. HTHelps. We also torque plate all blocks with this, it does matter slightly. But not enough to worry about if you did not.
