Hey, welcome to the boards! We usually put ideas and the like in the feedback forum, so I've moved your thread there.

We're always happy to get feedback and ideas from people.

As for custom blocks... we do some customization on our race series blocks, though not to the extent you're discussing here.
We also make billet blocks to virtually any spec you could dream of (they aren't cheap though!)

We have a new 4.5" bore space SBC block coming out very shortly as well, that will allow for some very large displacements (550ci+) without going into BBC deck heights.

nice! what could the max bore be with a setup like that?
and are you guys going to do a sbf the same way? we cant have 550 cu chevy and not fords...
either that or come up with an adapter to run some cleveland heads on em..;-)
