can 3/8 push rods be insalled on a motor running a dart 230cc head ? im building a new 406 for my modified and would like the extra strength and less flex to gain a few more hp, thxs

You are going to need an offset rocker. .250 clears a 3/8 with plenty. Odds are, with a 230 head, and a non offset rocker, you will run into a little interference with a 5/16 pushrod.

I think I happen to know where a set of, less then year old,:p T&Ds are. You might ask about them wicid. ;)

so just the rocker needs offset and not the lifter to? and to want a be what ya asking for the t & d setup ?

Actually wicid, The rockers are Jakes. You might ask if he is going to be interested in selling them. He is going to go with more offset if I'm right.

Honestly the rockers are still like new. It is a shame that I can't use them. The biggest reason I am not going to use them is because Tom wants to increase rocker arm ratio. So while I am at it, we are going to add offset to fit more pushrod. The price is the same for offsets. I was planning on just putting new rockers on my shafts. But I may be interested in selling what I have if the price is right. Do your homework. They have the edm'd oilinghole.
