View Full Version : Honda tall deck replacement sleeve...
I am from South Africa, and i have a 226mm tall deck Dart block with a damaged sleeve. Are these sleeves available as an individual replacement, or only as a set(4)? And from where can it be purchased?
Thank u in advance....:)

We do sell individual Honda sleeves, yes. Some of our dealers will likely offer them, but we also sell them direct. Here's a link to the product page, Honda sleeves are at the bottom.

CR:+- 13:1
B16a cyl head:
Supertech valves:OE head dimensions
Brian Crower BC0013 cams & valvetrain

Unshrouded chambers: 85 bore
Gearbox:

My CRX is meant as a track/drag toy/advertising medium and has to stay around 2.0L...... It will have to be semi street driveable, ruling out Methanol as fuel. We are at 5500ft elev in JHB, which is a big drawback as well..:(
Any comments/ideas on how to improve it will be appreciated...

JMD,
Since my isp connection speed can be out ran by a snail. I'm not going to look the cam specs up. Would you mind posting them here please?
What max RPM are you wanting to visit with this. What intake and induction are you planning on running?
Thanks, Don

These cams may be on the "small" side for this config? If so.. any recommendation?
. Im looking around 9000-9500 rpm.. more if need be.
. 50mm individual throttle bodies, feeding from a sealed CF plenum(+- 8 Liter)with a cold air intake(and filter) in front of front wheel(120mmx1000mm CF ducting)
I have simulation on "engine analyzer pro" if needed..

I'll have to look it up again. But it seems like I've seen an interesting build using a fabbed intake. He said that these engines love the larger plenum intakes. Although you are running injectors. He also said they love the RPMs. think he was quickly approaching 10000rpm.
He was posting this on the www.speedtalk.com forum if feable memory serves me correctly.
I'll try to look it up and post the link here.

Speed Talk updated their site here lately and I haven't for the exact thread I'm looking for. But I'm pretty sure that it was cspeier who posted it.
here are a few links you may be interested in. His deal isn't quite like what you are running. But for what you are doing you may pick up on some stuff. Hope it helps out.

I think the last one was the one I was thinking of. Look over the pictures that cspeier has posted.

No problem at all bud. Hope it helps out a bit. I know that guy posts on a few other forums I have hung around in. If you need it I could look there also. He seems to be pretty sharp.

for the most part this statement is true, but for the people who build their engines to handle high boost levels from a 70+mm turbos. i was at the track at the end of the year playing around and learning my car, i ran a 11.68 at 130 on ten psi. i am able to turn the boost up to 35 psi. this year when i get my boost by gear dialed in i am hoping for mid to high 9's. this is a street car as well so i drive to and from the track. no trailer queen here.;)
