I did not learn of this until Thursday when Jerome Norwood called me and said I was mentioned on the show. The customer got what he paid for and I always give the customer what he pays for and the e.t. and power truly speaks for its self. Go figure, 500" running 8.40's on a POS track. You should see what the car runs on a good day. Wait till you see this year what is going to be running in the 8:50 shows. Awesome Engines will be represented and you will be hearing more and more from us. Our engines are becoming very hot in the Aussie and UK seen, we can't build them fast enough!

The customers name is Kevin Banks and his car actually weighs 2650 with him in it. The engine is 4 years old and has just come back into the shop for a freshen up and we will be adding a couple things to get him into the 8.20's. His engine now has a Dart block, Pro 1 cnc 355 heads with a Edelbrock Super Victor. Our changes will be our new honing procedure, camshaft, 2.350 tit intake valves, and a Profiler Sniper fully ported intake. This will put him really close to the 1000 hp range.

Kevin has never had really good 60 ft times and when he showed me the picture of his beautiful Vet leaving the line, his 16x33 tires look like dish rags. The side walls are laying over really bad. I have instructed him what to change and with the updated engine, he will be running high 20's for sure. He was planning on converting over to the Dart 11° set up with a CFE and 2 carbs, but the funds are not hear this year. That would of been 7.80's!

He has a very nice car and keeps it crystal clean. I am lucky to have him as a customer.
