My sbc 383 with Pro1 215cc heads already made just above 850hp on Nitrous with a stock 010 block with main studs (stock caps).

We are now upgrading the pistons to support 250+hp or Nitrous. We are going to try this setup with the new SHP block.

I know that numerous people have made 800-850hp on this block. We know of at least 2 guys that have made over 1000+hp on the SHP with turbos and supercharger, but we do not know anyone that made that number with Nitrous.

Is anyone making close or over 1000hp on the SHP block? Is anyone making that power on Nitrous?

for just a little more, you can have a Little M that will easily make that power. The SHP will most likely handle it but why take the chance for $500.00. We have made well over 1000 hp with stock GM blocks and cranks. But we have also seen a ton more split the cylinder walls and take it out then the ones that made it.

Why even try this? If your going to spend $1500.00 on a block, just spend $2000.00 and get a killer block made for this type of power. Just because a block will handle something, means nothing, but, when it don't handle it, you do have something to blame your silly notions of pushing blocks to a limit just to say you done it. Get the Little M
