I spoke with a Al at Manton yesterday, and he recomended me to run one of their 3/8" pushrod with 0.120" wall for my new nitrous setup.

My question is: beside changing the guide plates, is there any other work to be done to make them fit with a Dart Little M block and Dart Pro1 215cc head? I have non-offset stud mounted roller rockers and non-offset lifters.

Is it won't work, would I get away only getting offset lifters? How how much offset?

When Al set me up with my pushrods I had him make me just 1 exhaust because I wasn't sure I could fit it 1/2" od. Get one made stick it in and try it, then go from there. I can't see needing to clearance the block but maybe the heads a bit, all you need is .010" .

Only difference will be the shipping for the single pushrod, then you won't be stuck with a bunch of
Manton souvenirs. Once you get the one fit properly get the rest made.

Al is a good guy he won't care if you want 1 or 1000.

I have run that setup up. I had no offset with 5/16 and had to grind a little. .250 offset with the 3/8 pushrods last year, and .400 offset with a .120 offset lifter for the 7/16 pushrods that I am running this year. :)

Long story short........you won't get 3/8 to work without an offset rocker.

I just got my hand on a set of Yella Terra offset rockers for Dart Pro1 for a grrrreat price. Guess my issue is solved!

Thanks for the info

You will still need to check, like Jake said, it normally does not work.
