B20 Tall deck block

What timing belt do you use with this block and stock GSR head?? How much has to be taken off the deck surface to get compression distance within spec??

I usually mock up the crank with a piston and rod assembly. Put it the 4 corners and use the piston rock method to see how far the piston is in the hole. Get the top and bottom deck height measurements so you'll know how much to take off. check all 4 corners to make sure everything is square.

It depends on what crank rod and piston height your running first. Then you would cc the combination or use a calculator to order some piston that will give you the desired compression I would assume. As far as a taller deck height block, they have the timing belt set up for them in stock from the Honda race shops.
