I know what I have that works for me, however others may agree, or disagree, but either way you are goin to have to be alot more specific on what exactly it is that you have on the stand. Everything you can think of all the cam specs, intake, carb, rpms, what your intended use is, converter, gears, and anything else you can think of. Listen to the opinions you get here but remember they are opinions, you have to make the final decision...........it is your money. I found that when I went through this process, the Dart Techs are all good people to talk to on the phone. Good luck.

I don't know for a fact either way..........but I would think that there would be some valve shrouding on a 4" bore..............just a guess though.......again, ask Don or Bill..........they are the professionals. I definately think that the 230's are too big for the 383 at 6500, a cam in the mid.500's and 10:1 compression. Good Luck

Stroker,
Your not needing the 230s at all. From the looks of the lift of your cam you're not going to rev this thing much. If not...I'd go with the 200s if your going to hit 7000 rpm.
Like lun was asking you for, we are going to need all the info he was asking you for. Don't leave out whats in the bottom end. Especially the use of your engine. Do you have future plans for the engine to be stepped up a bit?
The more you let us know about your combo/plans for the car the more we can help you out.
Later Bud, Don

Bit short on lift....unless you're close on your piston/valve clearance. 10 more degrees of duration wouldn't be bad either. With a bit of a split in duration.
