Is this car driven on the street at all?
Working with what you have.
What size chamber did you get with your Dart heads? From your compression it looks like they are the 64 cc versions. If so, and if this is more track then street, deck your heads to about 60 cc. This will bump your compression some which will help. If you decide to do this you'll be needing good fuel from then on.
Looks to me like you're a lil' light with your cam. Need a split pattern cam with a touch more Lift and duration. Check your piston-valve clearance before deciding on your new lift. Roller would be best. What have you set as your upper RPM? What RPM do you shift at? Launch RPM? Rules?
For the heads you're using looks like your stall is a bit low. Depending on how far you want to take this,...some where around 4500-5500 should help your 60' numbers. Didn't mention any use of a transbrake either. That will get you there a lot faster. But, if you are having traction problems then this may add to it.
I'm betting you are having some traction issues. Might investigate your front end also. Dialing in a stock suspension to what you are using might be a bit tricky. Depends on how strong your chassis tuning skills are. I could probably get you to hook and get down the track pretty good, but you're in Fla and I'm in Ill. When you do get things to hook,...you're probably going to wish you had a 9" rear end in there.
It's my opinion that your head might be a bit too much for what you're wanting to do. The 215s probably would have been better for the NA runs. 230s seem to be ok for the NOS stuff though.
Let us know what happens,
Thanks, Don

Here is what you have to look @. RPM crossing the finish line @ you best e.t. & MPH. What is it? then to go 9.50s, you would have to add @ the very least 1500 rpm? Will your combination support that? You can put as much nos on it as you want, the question is, will your combination support it? I think not.
You only need 1 air bag!. The other is a waste. RR. Also, keep all sway bars on the car and if you can, get the largest ones for front and rear and watch your 60 go down. Get back with the RPM @ the finish line and I will let you know. It really does not matter what piston or dome or combustion chamber you have, you only have 10.75-1 compression. This means you can safely add 300 and still run Purple or Blue Gas 110-112 with the timing your suggested.

Be careful about shoving a bunch of compresson in with NOS. You don't need it. You can always just add a pill and make more power. A ton cheaper. When you start getting up in compression, detonation occurs and boom, your done. A good 11-1 engine will handle a 500 hp of NOS. That is if your block will handle it. Most standard main cap blocks will handle 600 hp at most. Some will do more but who wants to find out.
I have seen stock blocks handle 1000 hp with all the stuff added for strength and then seen some not handle 500. Be nice to know which one before we build. Any way, I would get some basic information and lay out exactly how fast I wanted to be before I just went out and started redoing a whole new engine. Thats if if your budget is tight and you can't. If you can, have at it. Power adders are really great, especially NOS. It is the cheapest safest power adder you can add. You just have to know how to use it. That is where everyone who thinks they know about it burns their stuff down. Have fun.
