We want to get a feel for how we can continue to improve our website, so feel free to post ideas and comments.
Also, I'd really like to know what online calculators you would all like to have available here on the site (compression, etc...)
Thanks everyone!

Real dyno testing with real products, back to back. Would make great video.

Honest combo comparisons between different manufacturers would be cool, to go along with Bill's suggestion on the dyno comparisons. Something along the lines of how similar heads compare in regards to flow data, etc. I'd also like to see an interactive feature that would help you with parts selection. While speaking with a tech is still the best way, feature like that would help narrow things down a bit!

Customers of mine are customers of Dart because they purchase Dart from me or the Dart i suggest from Summit, I dont know about everybody else but my customers run down the race track or on the street, Not on a dyno
I would do alot of engine tests with engine builders where they compare track ET's betwen given products such as an excellent test as this :
Take your std 355 bracket engine with Dart '220' heads which is a full competition head compared to a Dart 215 platinum Pro 1 and the customer can see what he is getting for the added money of the Dart '220' head, maybe it gains .3 over the Pro 1, maybe more but the customer can get an idea of the gains he will be getting when spending their hard earned money - I have had that question many of time, What will i gain at the track if i switch to .......
That would be excellent tests, Video's to go along with the passes too

I agree, as a rookie seeing actual track results, tied to engine specs would help in the planning stage. Plus with names you can contact individuals and discuss there total package, what chassis modes...then plan future changes to reach a certain performance level.

I would start by being different than all the other cylinder head manufacturers. Everyone already knows Dart makes a quality product. Best blocks around as far as I am concerned. I wouldn't jump on the band wagon with advertising "flow numbers" and compareing them to other castings, as we all know, they mean nothing and are just used for advertising purposes. It is sad that when people window shop, that is all they look at and it sometimes does more harm than good as far as sales go. I would also add more dimensions to the spec page like MCSA which is real important., as well as the short turn dimensions. I would start advertising builds with actual combinations, showing the power that can be made with the product being sold. That would show guys more of what can be achieved with a given product. Real time performance is what matters, not advertised numbers on a piece of paper. Dyno videos won't do much because you can't see the power made, and if you show the numbers screen, you won't know what it is attached to. Real combinations from real builders willing to put their names on it would be better. Comments pages from real customers using specific products from before and after comparisons also help. It all just backs up what most guys know, which is the stuff works. I would vouch for them as a builder. Online calculators are good for entertainment purposes and would surely bring alot of guys to the site, and may help sell more products. The more you can put up, the better. Let me know when you want a post about what we feel Dart should look into making if we had a wish list...have alot of ideas.;)

Using builds from engine builders as a demonstration of power potential is an excellent idea. Thanks for your input!
