I've got a 347 with a 76mm turbo and have been having some problems with the heads that are currently on the car. They've been milled so many times that they don't seal real well against the intake. My current heads flow really well (over 300cfm and 240cfm at .600) and I'd like something comparable.

I've been considering a set of Pro 1's but have been unable to find a lot of information about them. I want to make sure that at 25lbs of boost the deck of the head wont warp or contort as the compression ratio would be north of 25:1. I've read some people claim that the deck is .375" which I find hard to believe. I also can't find any flow numbers below .700".

Turbo and nitrous users highly recommend the AFR 225s or the Brodix Track 1s because of the .750" deck thickness.

Can anybody give me some information about the Pro 1 in terms of flow rates, deck thickness and performance in boosted applications?

Thanks!

i run a 347 stroker big bore (3.250 stroke, 4.125 bore) sbf with a precision GT76HPS turbo and making 22-24 lbs of boost. making just little over 800 rwhp. im running brodix track 1 heads with probe shaft rockers. 1/2 inch studs and have yet to pop a head gasket or lift the head. im also running e85.

just make sure the heads have a thick deck surface and i think youd be fine when using 1/2 head studs and a good cometic mls head gasket with good forged pistons.
