i am new to this board so here goes i have a 69camaro full body& int it has a 406ci 10.5to1 dish pistons factory iron heads 2.02-1.60 mild port& polish edelbrock scorpion intake(i know most of u never heard of it it is old)with a 750vac with a comp cam mag 292 501 i have pro 1 200cc 64cc with 1.437springs & air-gap ordered (comming in this week)it has th400 with 3500stall 3.73gears i run on the street it has run 12.90's with old set-up with ordered parts do u see an problems thanks

Make sure your heads are not 58cc chambers, the reason i say this is your compression would drop when you install the 64cc heads

Everything looks good, i would rather see a double pumper on there but hey try what you got first - Try the dual plane and your old ancient intake - That intake is like the Edelbrock Original Torker

Don't sell the scorpion just yet. I'm betting your not going to like how the air gap will compare to that scorpion. If it's for sell though pm me with a price you have in mind. I have a friend who need an intake.

I agree with the vac secondary carbs...they are for grandma. You'll really appreciate a good 750 double pumper. Get a 4 corner idle on while you're at it.

Those new heads (And I think the intake too) should really wake your F-body up. I've seen great results with the 200 runners on 400/406's. Enjoy!
