just wondering what do you guys do as far as cleanin a block after havin it machined??? just wonderin if i doin enough or overdoin it havent had any problem just gonna get one back from the machine shop and the question came to mind

we hot wash with soap for ½ hour then after cooled down, we brake clean everything. Never can be to clean!

good i scrub it down with soapy water and spray it down with wd-40 to keep it from rustin when dryin it off then rub everything down with tranny fluid

U can not ever be to clean on a good engine build,
If they arent gone I remove cambearings and lots of pluggs, besides the one Dave Wizard says dont need to be removed.

wd is not the best thing to preserve with. They have rust inhibaters that work way better if a long time before assembly is considered. Never put an even warm block in a bag and seal it up!
