I have the Iron Eagle Ford 302 SB. The spec sheet lists the rear main seal as Fel-Pro #2922 or #2941. Is there some cross-reference to newer part numbers? The one-piece seals that are easiest to find are
Fel-Pro FEL-BS40644 and FEL-BS40620.

The spec says 4.250" x 3.625", but the Fel-Pro 375-2922RS seal lists an inside diameter of 3.542" and says that 302 engines in this application had either 3.493" or 3.542" seals.

Is the 375-2922RS the same as the specified 2922 seal?
Will the FEL-BS40644 or the FEL-BS40620 work well?
The 40644 is polytetrafluoroethylene rubber and the 40620 is rubber. Which will work better? (I'm thinking the 40644 might last longer without cracking.)

I have been unable to find the 2941 seal.

The prefix "375" is part of a Jegs numbering system much like Summit uses "FPP" - both mean Felpro or Felpro Performance. The 2922RS is the seal you are looking for. You could use pretty much any rear seal that is designed for a later model (5.0) type block.
I checked Summit for the 2941 (FPP-2941) and it came up without any problems - but it was about 3 times as expensive.
