block id

hi, i need to know how to id the dart block i have. its for a bbc. DESCRIPTION on the web site says the the big m block has a stock fuel pump mount. the block i have does not have a place for a stock fuel pump. the only # i can find are right above the word DART on the pass side. 8123b... and then 9795 is stamped in the pass side head gasket area at the front of the block. i see that there should be a 8 diget part number somewhere? any help?

the part number for the block you have is 31263644. It is the 9.800 deck 4.600 bore. This block has been machined for a 50MM cam tunnel and .904 lifter bores. However, i do not see anything on the work order sheet about machining the fuel pump boss. Hope this helps.

hi, thanks. yes this helps alot. now i know what i have. there is a small round hole where the fuel pump would mount on a std chevy block. but there is no fuel pump mount boss. you cannot bolt a fuel pump to this block so that is why i was lost on the id. lol... but thank you very much, this has me stright now.
