I recently built a 383 with dart iron eagle heads. Straight plug location. My current headers that were on the old 350 have plug clearance problems. I don't mind getting a new set of headers. Does any one have experience with these heads on a 1955 chevy 2dr with the 605 P/S pump? I don't want to make a mistake in ordering. Not much help is forthcoming from Summit or Jegs, only their "best guess". Thanks

I don't have a problem with access, it is the spark plug contacting the header, with no room for the boot. Thanks for the reply.
I have a 1956 with straight plug iron eagles, manual steer box, Hooker super comp 2112's, AR155 plugs.
A little bit of a hassle changing the plugs, but they didnt hit the headers. Really close on the #5 cylinder tube with the plug boot, so I added a Taylor cover on that one.

accell makes shorty spark plugs which may work. I used them on a set of angle plug heads in a 66 chevelle. The super comp headers were made for straight plugs but with the accell shortie plugs it all worked out.
