My heads gasket surfaces are not to bad after taking them off the old motor. Some old sealant & gasket stuff on them. Before I put them on my new dart block with Fel-pro MLS gaskets I want to clean them up. The Fel-pro MLS recommend a 30 ra finish I believe, and I think that is equivalent to 240 grit. Could I just go over the surfaces gently with a 240 grit block to prep for the gaskets?
