My SBC 383 was dynode and had an a/f ratio of 15:1. I jetted up to 88 jets on a 750 mighty demon mechanical doulble pumper. The power valve is blocked. I installed a a/f meter that shows I'm still lean. i talked barry grant tech, they said i need to install small airbleeds.
should i be running on 110 octance.

383stroker 11:1 cr or possibly higher running on 93 ocatane
-7cc flattop pistons
dart 215cc 64cc
mechanical cam 250 duration @50 lift of 540intake and exhaust
team g intake 3500-7200
750 mighty demon 87and 88 factory air bleeds

.059 idle air bleeds
or
.063

clean up idle circuits by adjusting idle EZ or drill butterfly or both,,, your choice

high speed air bleeds @ .036-.039

no power valves

83/83 jets to 86/86 jets

If your not in that range i listed thats your problem,,, Transfer slots need to be set so they are not showing more than .020"

Also in my opinion, a 750bg is too small for that engine. I build engines like that and use the 1.562 venturii with annular boosters and 88/88 jetting

jetting should not have to move very far,, My 400 small block camaro with double hump heads uses an 1000 venturii with annular boosters which is a BG850 mighty demon or 820an race demon

first, are you talking about wide open throttle? or are you just talking about the Barry Grant lean conditions you get with every one of their street units. Here is what I need, a/f ratio @ your peak power, EGT, exhaust gas temps, fuel pressure, BSFC. Get me those and I can help. No one can tell you what jet you'll need with those and be reliable. Every engine is different. The compression ratio is right at detonation area with pump gas. But if your talking idel specs, you should jet it to be around 600-700° egt temps and your engine will most likely not run hot either in traffic. There is a lot of wide open area here so please be more specific.
