im getting ready to build a 468 does anyone have any combos they have had luck with . im planning on build the 468 with a compression ratio around 11:01 that produces around 570-650hp. I have seen some forged rotating assemblies but im undecided.

Use: mainly strip that rarely sees street

If you're going to buy a forged rotating assembly then why not get a 4.250" stroke. Cost will be the same and you"ll be able to make a 496 inch engine for the same money. jmo

we sell the complete line of 468 or 496 strokers, in 4340 cranks w/h beam rods and 2618 pistons or the cast cranks and I beam rods with Hyputectic style pistons. It is up to your application. Either will work fine. With the 4¼ crank - 469ci, you would have to slightly notch the block. You can call me at my contact #. The 468 will most likely be around 525-550 with the 11/1, good heads cam and intake with proper carb.
