Using dart aluminum block (spread pan rail, no oil filter boss) for street car (427 c.i.) Planning on using moroso 20193 or maybe canton 13-090A oil pan , any other suggestions? Not using any restrictor plugs.

Should I use std. volume +10% or 25% because of extra plumbing for remote oil filter? Any thoughts on external filter, moroso 22285 (oberg type) or stay with screw on filter? Any remote mounts you can recommend?

Dart alu blocks have no provision for screw on filters neither do the Iron Eagle. Moroso makes a killer pan for this application and go with a full kick out and put the starter on the driver side. Pure Power remote filter is very good.

Thanks Bill, checked into pure power remote oil filter, looks like a nice piece. Whats your or anyone elses thought on oil pump volume because of remote filter and plumbing or does it not make a big differance. +10% or +25%?

With the aftermarket pan, the HV is always a good Idea. I use @10 or 12 line to plumb the remote. I have never had a problem
