I see that Dart does coatings. Just wondering if Dart has a thermal barrier coating for the inside of the intake manifold runners? It would seem to me that coating the inside of the runners would be a good way to keep the incomming air temperature down. Does Dart or anyone else have information on this and how effective it would be?

Our coatings department can thermal coat the inside of the intake runners. However, we have generally found it to be slightly more effective to coat the outside of the manifold.
This also tends to create fewer regulations conflicts since some organizations dislike the use of coatings inside the manifold.
That makes it a win-win scenario, so coating the outside is likely the better way to go.
