Hello,

I would like some recommendations on a set of heads,

383 stroker
c-26 edl int, 2 - 500 cfm carter 4's
flat tops 2 valve rel +.03 kieith black
0 decked
crower 496 int 508 exh 242@50 solid w/roller tip rockers
flow master 15/8 headers
currently running gm 882 with the exhaust valves opened to 1.6
with these heads (76 cc) my compression is 9.5/1.

what I would like,
10.5 to 11/1 comp ratio
good bottom end torque
best size intake runners when over carb'd (like I am)
most hp I can get
I plan on shoot'n a little nos in the future

so alum or iron, 190 cc intake run or 230?
I use the car for car shows witch I will drive to and I need to blast down the 1/4 track.
thanks, nova3834spd

your not even close to being over carbed, I would stay under 200 ccs and if you want more compression, get the 64 cc combustion chambers, this will put you closer to 11/1

bill

you think that 2 500cfm carbs is not over carb'd?
What head alum or iron?
can you tell me what the compression ratio would be with 64 cc chamber heads and with 67 cc?
Thanks for your input,

No you are not over cfmed. Not even close. 1+1 here don't equal 2. Don't ask for my explanation. As far as the heads, take your pick, If you use aluminum we have found the MLS gaskets from Fel Pro to work very well for extended street and strip use. You will have 11/1 with 67 and most likely 11-5.1 with 64. Depends a lot on how far the piston is in the hole. Hope this helps.
