We are in the process of building a 434 SBC using a Little M block. This is a wet sump motor and is for Drag racing only. On the Chev blocks we used the standard .060" restrictors in each bank to restrict the lifter gallerys. With the revised oiling in the Litttle M do we need to put a restrictor in the front as well? What size restrictors will we need to use to get an equivelant flow rate to the top end? I don't have the block here yet, so I haven't been able to look at the oiling.
Thank you
Tom

When you get the block it will have about 7 pages of instructions. This should help to answer some of the questions. When you restrict a Dart block you can not use the standard restrictors like the stock GM block would use. You use pipe plugs and drill restrictor holes in them. You can do this a few ways with the Dart blocks. You can call Dart direct in case the instructions are not the helpful!
