i currently have a 79 camaro with a 454 std bore std stroke with facroty GM ls6 "pop-ups" from a 396 chevelle i believe im running a set of big valve oval port 101 cc' heads with some mild porting, a victor junior intake and a holley HP830 carb, with a .618 lift cam i believe. Im thinking about switching to hte iron eagle square port heads, bang for the buck would there be a sig difference. As it stands right now it is a street car adn it will only run on 110 octane fuel due to the insane compression, hopefully the 121cc will calm that down to a respectable number and make some more power. basically would this be a good investment for me?

Should save ya some money on fuel cost if nothing else.

Get the smallest intake runner steel heads available. I think they are around 265 for the oval and 300 for the square. The larger stuff will kill that thing dead. As far as compression, you will loose 3 ratios going from 101 to 121 and maybe more. You will most likely get away with 87 octance at that point.
