i am going to start a 331 stroker motor with a turbo ,my goal is to push close to 800 to 1000 hp ,i need info on how much horsepower the iron eagle block and the iron eagle sportsman block will handle,this will go on a street car....

The sportsman block will handle 1500 hp also.

Yes it will, The compacted blocks are much better for that for sure. Your puttitng the block on an outside edge of where it feels good to the block. The billet cap block offers no more hp stabiltiy because of billet caps. It offers a little more stabiliy because of maybe the 4 bolt cap option on all five. Billet caps for years have been overrated as making things stronger. In fact, they cause problems I will not go int. Check out Formula 1 cars, indy cars. Those UK boys look at us like were stupid when we say we want billet caps. Anyway, they look cool. They do a little better with heat when your loosing a main bearing. theres a plus. Why put 2 different metals and have 2 different growth rates and material density when your trying to achieve a perfect round hole under load and heat?
