when i bought my block i didn't get any insrutcions w/it can i purchase some from dart directly

You don't need to purchase directions, that's crazy talk!
The website offers a pdf downloadable directions sheet for most of our engine blocks. Just check out whatever sort of block you bought on the site and you should be able to grab them.
If you have any troubles though, let me know and I will either e-mail them to you or ship you a hard copy for free.
