banned, I was wondering what happened to him. We just done a 400 with the stock Ford lifter and it would not spin over 6000 rpm even with the lifter set up. We used ofcourse a 9.5" deck, stainless stuff and the valve train was just to heavy. Still made decent power but just using the taller block, longer pushrods, stainless valves and steel retainers killed the hyd lifter. We were not trying to turn this thing 7500 rpm just wanted people to know hyd roller stuff is not as good as you think but is a ton better than a stock flat tappet design.
