Default 372 cam for street use in a 84 ss monte.

what would be the best cam for the street. in my ss montecarlo.the best gas here is still not that good.would like to run this motor on pump gas not c113.will this .540 .558 camwork good on pump gas it was a great cam with c113. vp fuel

I run a Comp 12-772-8 in my 377, pump gas

I think it's around .576 .582 lift 110 cl

Camshaft depends on car weight, stall converter, heads, carburetor, Intake manifold, and headers you’re going to be using, or want to use. All of these pieces need to be balanced in order for them to perform at their best.
