You do realize that you can figure what your head is going to flow at 100" by using your #'s at 28" right? The # at 28" is just a unit of measure. Have you ever seen a bench that flows 10"? All you have to do is Calculate up to the 28" #. So it doesn't matter what vacum you pull the head is going to flow what it flows.

You can flow fine @ 28" and it will show XXX @ 100" but if you were to flow the head @55" to 100" and find airflow problems within the port design

Sorry it has been so long, but...... What is atmospheric pressure at sea level? oh and what does wet flow show you?

Jamie who are you. Do you own a business porting heads. Do you work for a guy who does. Are you a car nut with a google button. When you first got here you were full of questions. Now we are talking about atmospheric pressure, and what you have seen wetflow do. Hit the newb section, introduce yourself. I think alot of this crap will stop rubbing me wrong if you do. Read this thread, not sure if your google button found it. It is a great read.

Wet flow shows you how the fuel acts in the runner and as it enters the chamber. Watch the video. Its a really good vid.

What I was getting at is why do you think an engine can see that much vacum? Why do you think that 28" is the industry standard for flow benches?

They started out as pro 1 215s and after a trip to HVH in Tenessee they ended up at 225. I have completed building the engine and just haven't had time to go to the dyno to run it in and pull it. I will post as soon as I do. Probably going to be in March. I still would like to know how an engine can see 55" naturally aspirated
