Golf and Win!
If you're a resident of the great state of Texas, it might be a good time to get out your golf clubs!

The 6th annual Greg Morris Memorial Golf Tournament has more to offer than just a good game of golf... It's for a great cause, and there's an impressive grand prize to boot!

The tournament takes place on September 26th, at the Old Brickyard Golf Course in Ferris, Texas, just 15 minutes from the Texas Motorplex.

The grand prize for the tournament will be a 582 cubic inch Pro Series motor from Sunset Racecraft!

The engine is a monster 1,078 horsepower motor, kicking out 818 ft./lbs of torque. A 4.6" bore, 9.5" deck Dart Iron Eagle Sportsman block provides the base for the motor, which features Jesel Belt drives, T&D rockers, Manley connecting rods, Diamond pistons, an APD carburetor, full Moroso oiling system, a Callies crankshaft and a full MSD ignition system.

Each year, a part of the proceeds from the event go to a racer in need, selected by the organizing panel for the tournament.

The rest of the proceeds go directly to Heather Morris, daughter of Greg Morris. Greg was an employee of the Texas Motorplex and the Hallsville Raceway, and was diagnosed with brain cancer just six months before Heather lost her mother in a tragic car accident. After a two and a half year battle with the disease Greg left 7 year old Heather in the care of Mrs. Debi Feaster.

If you're in the area and you want to take part, contact Craig Anderson for tickets, 214-707-4361. Tickets can be purchased up to the day before the event.
