4.5" Bore Spacing SBC Iron and Aluminum Blocks |

Dart’s Iron Eagle and Race Series aluminum small blocks are
now available with 4.500” bore spacing. These blocks safely accommodate a 4.250” bore size for maximum effort competition engines!
The redesigned blocks add .150” to the overall length so that the water jackets and wall thickness are not compromised. Bosses are added at the ends of the decks to accommodate the extra head studs which are provided for in Dart’s new 9 degree cylinder heads. Standard and tall deck versions are available. The cam location is raised .391” and oil pan rails are spread .400” per side on both the iron and aluminum blocks. |
