Dart's big-block Race Series heads set the standard as soon as they were introduced, and we have continued to refine the original design with the latest technology. The 320, 360 and 410 "Big M" have been joined by 340 and 370 oval port designs. Dart's Race Series big-block heads give you a true racing head and still allow the use of off the shelf pistons, manifolds and headers. They are cast with extra thick walls to allow extensive porting and modification. A variety of CNC porting programs are available.
Dart's 18° big block head was conceived to bridge the gap between a conventional BBC head and Dart's legendary Big Chief. Dart's proprietary Speed Flow Technology(tm) has brought awesome power producing features together in a new cylinder head design. Combining oval intake ports and high flowing intake runners in a conventional siamesed-port design, the new 18° head provides approximately a 50-60hp bolt-on advantage while retaining conventional valve train, manifolds and valve covers.
