Dart's DC2 Reflective Heat Barrier coating is a ceramic based blend that offers an effective method for controlling thermal engine issues. DC2 enhances flame propagation, reflects heat into the combustion chamber and protects piston tops, rings, lands headers and turbo housings. The coating can also be used to reduce heat transfer from the combustion chamber to the valvetrain, maintaining lower operating oil temperatures. Exhaust gasses are kept at higher temperatures, creating faster travel and better scavenging.

Maximum Effective Temperature: 2,200° Fahrenheit (Gold Barrier) or 1,800° Fahrenheit (Silver Barrier)
