A blend of tungsten disulfide, MOS2 and PTFE, the DC4 coating greatly enhances wear life and load capacity where surface and subsurface fatigue due to abrasion, adhesion or corrosive wear are a concern. Ideal for high pressure, high temperature and/or heavy surface contact applications such as valve springs, valve stems, camshafts, oil pump gears, transmission gears and bushings, timing gears, rings and pinions and many others.
