Dart SHP cylinder heads for Small Block Chevy and Small Block Ford engines are built with the same American-made quality you know and love and are designed to be a reliable, fairly-priced upgrade for performance small block engines, from street to strip to circle track. Offered for Small Block Chevy engines in 180cc and 200cc, 23° options, and for Small Block Fords in 175cc and 205cc, 20° options, these cast aluminum cylinder heads can be ordered bare or assembled with Dart and its trusted partners’ components.
Small Block Chevy 180cc 23°
Dart’s SHP (Special High Performance) 23° 180cc cylinder heads provide an affordable option to those looking for the weight savings of an Aluminum head for a street performance engine. The SHP is designed to work with most off the shelf components. These heads deliver maximum torque and throttle response from idle to 6,000 RPM, and are best for 327 – 400 cubic inch engines.
The SHP head’s precision cast ports are designed to offer excellent flow and power without the need for CNC porting. Optimized chambers increase combustion efficiency, and multi-angle intake seats and radiused exhaust seats dramatically increase performance. Manganese Bronze valve guides increase the life of the head.

Dart’s SHP (Special High Performance) 23° 200cc cylinder heads provide an affordable option for larger displacement street performance engines. The SHP is designed to work with most off the shelf components. These heads deliver best performance at mid-range to 6,500 RPM and are best for 383 – 434 cubic inch engines.
The SHP head’s precision cast ports are designed to offer excellent flow and power without the need for CNC porting. Optimized chambers increase combustion efficiency, and multi-angle intake seats and radiused exhaust seats dramatically increase performance.
